She started to compete at fitness competitions after quitting the gymnastics she had been doing in her youth. She earned her Pro Card within a year, at the age of 17. She became one of the oldest IFBB Pro in history. Ariel took a six-year break from her career after she earned her pro card to pursue her education. In 2015 she re-entered the stage and competed in high-level contests like Mr. Olympia and Toronto Pro Supershow. She continued to compete throughout the years following her debut show setting higher targets for herself every year. In 2009 she was awarded four additional fitness awards. Also, she was the 2009 NPC Team Universe Fitness Nationals champion. This made her the youngest IFBB Fitness Pro (at age 17) in history. Ariel spent her first six years in competing to obtain her degree from the college she attended. In the month of October, 2015, she made a return with her IFBB Fitness Pro debut in the 2015 Phoenix Europa Games. The team finished third in the contest. She took home the IFBB Toronto Pro Supershow in the summer of 2016 and was able to qualify for Fitness Olympia. After three months of training, she competed onstage at the Olympia and took 6th in The Fitness Division. Ariel, who had absolutely no expectations when she entered she was thrilled with her performance. This is not a surprise since she placed so well, in light of the contest. Ariel's body continues to grow each year. Ariel prefers to concentrate on her back. She usually does bent-over rows, single arm lats pull-downs (on machines) or pull-ups as well as seated rowing. First, she warms up prior to moving on to exercises. Ariel uses her time efficiently. Ariel achieves this by performing supersettings for all her back exercises. It involves three or four sets of 10-12 repetitions.
